To create Guinness 0.0, the brewers at St James's Gate brew Guinness exactly as they always do, using the same natural ingredients: water, barley, hops, and yeast, before gently extracting the alcohol through chill filtration. This process removes the alcohol without exerting thermal stress on the beer, thus preserving its flavor integrity and character. The brewers then carefully blend and balance the flavors to ensure the unique flavor profile and taste characteristics of Guinness. The resulting stout is unmistakably Guinness, just without the alcohol, with the same dark ruby red liquid and creamy head, notes of chocolate and coffee, harmoniously balanced with bitter, sweet, and roasted notes.
