The purpose of these terms and conditions is to define the rights and obligations of the Allcook establishment and customers purchasing online on the site https://allcook.be.

Art. 2: Purpose

www.allcook.be is an online grocery store from Anglo-Saxon, Canadian and Scandinavian countries.

Items: Beverages (spirits, soft drinks, juices, beers, ciders, teas, herbal teas and others) Sweets (sweet and savoury cookies, chocolates, candies, potato chips, gifts, preserves (meats, preparations, condiments, sauces, specialities...) gift items.

Art. 3: Prices and delivery

These general terms and conditions aim to define the terms and conditions of sale between www.allcook.be and the customer, in particular the terms of payment, delivery.

All prices are in Euro (€) and include VAT.

VAT on products is 21% on non-food items and 6% on food products.

www.allcook.be delivers anywhere in Belgium or to other countries in Europe, by Mondial relay private carriers.

Art. 4 : Ordering

All orders for www.allcook.be products are placed via the shopping cart on its www.allcook.be website.

The order can only be validated if the customer has clearly identified himself, i.e.: first and last name, (company name), address, telephone.

For taxable customers, the VAT number will be validated by our services prior to shipment of the first order.

Period of validity: Offers on the site are valid during their online presence or until the date explicitly indicated in the visual of the offer.

As a general rule, an order will follow the following process:

The customer fills the shopping cart, then registers or logs in (if already registered), then completes or selects delivery/billing addresses, then consults the general terms and conditions and ticks the box indicating acceptance, then obtains a final summary of the order they are about to pay for.

Then, once the summary has been checked, the customer is invited to choose a payment method and is redirected to the secure page corresponding to their choice in order to proceed with the payment.

Once payment has been validated, the customer is automatically redirected to the www.allcook.be site, where he or she obtains an order confirmation accompanied by a unique order identification number.

Lastly, confirmation emails are sent on registration and when a new order is placed to the email address provided by the customer on registration. The customer will be notified of any change in status by this means of communication.

When the order is consulted by the operator in charge of preparing it, the customer is notified by e-mail that someone is preparing the order.

The order is then entrusted to the carrier for delivery. The customer immediately receives a tracking number and a link to the carrier's website, enabling them to track their package online.

Finally, if no complaint has been lodged by the customer, the order is considered closed by www.allcook.be and has the status "Delivered".

Art. 5: Billing

A detailed invoice is available for download in the customer's personal space.

Art. 6: Payment methods

Our orders are payable exclusively by :

  • Payment by credit card VISA/MASTERCARD via Paypal
  • Payment by PayPal account
  • Payment by Bancontact
  • Payment by bank transfer: we offer this method of payment in our store, which will be displayed during the checkout process.

However, you will have to wait longer for your parcel to be sent, as we will wait until we receive your payment via our bank account before shipping.

When using payment by bank transfer, the customer receives the payment details when the order is validated on www.allcook.be, but also as a copy by email.

Art. 7 : Delivery

Terms of delivery

Delivery can only take place once the order has been validated by the customer and payment has been made in full. As soon as payment is received, www.allcook.be undertakes to deliver the items ordered as soon as possible.

Furthermore, www.allcook.be reserves the right to refuse any order from a customer with whom an ongoing dispute exists.

Delivery costs are indicated throughout the order process.

However, for technical reasons, the default charges are those calculated for national delivery in Belgium only.

In order for the system to correctly calculate delivery charges for deliveries outside Belgium, you must be logged in and have entered a correct delivery address.

Deadlines

Orders are processed as quickly as possible from Tuesday to Saturday inclusive.

Shipments take place within 5 working days.

N.B. Upon delivery, the customer may be asked to show proof of identity and sign for receipt of delivery.

Terms of delivery

Delivery will be made by Mondial relay to the address specified by the customer as the delivery address or to the relay point selected at the time of the order.

For home deliveries, the customer is informed of any absence by a delivery notice indicating that an appointment can be made with the carrier, or that the order can be collected from the Mondial Relay branch indicated on the notice.

In this case, the customer is responsible for collecting the goods. If the customer requests a new delivery, this will be the subject of a new order.

Any unjustified or unissued complaint to the carrier or other deliverer will not be taken into account.

Damaged goods will be reshipped according to the damage incurred after expert appraisal.

Art. 8 : Distance selling - right of withdrawal

Internet sales are a form of distance selling regulated by articles 45 et seq. of the law of April 6, 2010 on market practices and consumer protection.

As these are consumer products that deteriorate or expire, there is no right of withdrawal.

Art. 9: Complaints

By signing the delivery note, the customer accepts the products delivered as is, and therefore no claims for damage incurred during transport will be accepted.

It is the customer's responsibility to carry out all checks and make all detailed reservations on arrival of the equipment and, if necessary, to exercise all recourse against the carrier.

On receipt of the goods, the customer must immediately check their condition and conformity with the contract.

All claims relating to a defect in the goods delivered, an inaccuracy in the quantities or an erroneous reference in relation to the order confirmed by www.allcook.be, must be made in writing on the day of delivery of the goods, failing which the right to claim will cease to exist.

Art. 10: Liability and force majeure

If not otherwise stipulated in these conditions or in mandatory legal provisions, the liability of www.allcook.be shall be limited to the value of the order amount.

www.allcook.be shall not be liable for any loss or damage that may arise from any delay in delivery or non-performance of these obligations as mentioned in the Terms, in the event of force majeure such as strikes, war, accidents, theft, fire or failures due to suppliers of www.allcook.be.

In this case, www.allcook.be will make every effort to inform the customer and rectify the situation in order to satisfy the customer as quickly as possible.

Art. 11: Legislation and courts

The courts of Mons have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute that may arise between the customer and us.
