The inventor of Coca-Cola is a pharmacist, Dr. John Styth Pemberton. Its invention dates back to 1886, in Atlanta. The man behind the name ‘Coca-Cola’ is nevertheless Frank Robinson, the accountant of Jacob’s Pharmacy, the pharmacy where Pemberton worked.
John Pemberton, an American pharmacist, liked to experiment with the remedies in his medicine cabinet. Curious to know the taste of some ingredients that, at first glance, did not go together, he embarked on the experiment of mixing them until he obtained a brown syrup. Not knowing what to do with it, he brought his syrupy drink to a colleague at Jacob's Pharmacy. How Coca-Cola was born
