In 1901, steelworkers working on the rebuilding of Glasgow Central Station were drinking too much beer to quench their thirst. So a local soft drinks manufacturer named A.G. Barr brought them a tonic that could help the workers get through a hard day's work. 'Iron Brew' was born and a long history of helping Scots get through tough times began.
